Celebrating 9 Years of Sologistics

Our team is proud to be celebrating Sologistics’ nine-year anniversary! This month, we are taking a moment to reflect on the journey, to thank those who helped us get here, and to appreciate how far we’ve come.

The entire Sologistics team has so much appreciation and gratitude for our clients, partners, investors, and supporters who have helped turn the vision for Sologistics into a reality. Sologistics would not be where it is today without all of your support. For our founder and CEO Fayeann Lawrence, leading Sologistics has been a life-changing and deeply rewarding experience. Fayeann created this company with a clear purpose: to simplify solar operations from start to finish, expedit project completion time, cut through red tape, and remove barriers to solar development. We believe that Sologistics has accomplished this and much more, guided by our principle to always produce high quality work the right way, not merely the easy way. In our nine years, Sologistics has provided and completed over 16,110 services, 3,650 permit applications, and designed 42 MW of installed solar with many more designs in progress. Our clients continue to rely on us because we consistently deliver effective results, streamlining the complex bureaucratic process of installing solar in NYC. It is these results and impacts that keep our team energized for the future of Sologisitcs.

When Faye founded Sologistics, she had no idea that it would grow into what it is today. Faye took a leap of faith leaving her career in banking and venturing into the world of entrepreneurialism, unaware that it would take her down this incredibly generative path. The idea for Sologistics was born from a casual conversation between Fayeann and a close colleague while driving down NYC’s West Side Highway. The birth of Sologistics was made possible through a Kiva microloan, a testament to the belief and support of Faye’s family, friends, and former colleagues and mere acquaintances who believed in her abilities. Their contributions were not just financial; they were a profound vote of confidence in both the potential of the idea and of Faye's ability to bring her vision to fruition. Fayeann remains deeply grateful for this early faith in her and in the concept of Sologistics, which laid the foundation for the company's future. As the company and team grew, we have continued to draw on an increasingly diverse set of skills in order to provide more high-quality solar project services. While Faye no longer personally reviews every project as her focus has necessarily shifted towards overarching strategies and providing new opportunities for the company, the team of solar project experts has grown over the years and is now made up of the best of the best in their categories. She’s confident that the Projects are in good hands.

As Sologistics continues to celebrate its ninth anniversary, we reflect on our journey, marked by significant achievements and continuous growth. Our commitment to innovation and excellence in the solar industry has been recognized nationally, with Sologistics being named on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing businesses in 2023. This accolade, along with our Circle of Champions award, underscores our dedication to leading the solar revolution with quality and efficiency. Faye has also been recognized during our nine years working in New York solar. As the Island Innovation Ambassador from 2021-2022,in her role on the Board of Directors of NYSEIA and as the recipient 2021 American Solar Energy Society's (ASES) Women in Solar Energy Award, Faye has been instrumental in shaping not just Sologistics but the wider solar industry. Her expertise and leadership have been central to our success. Sologistics has undergone incredible growth for our clients, and within the team, and we look forward to expanding and growing our solar endeavors and impact. In this time when there remains increased urgency for meaningful climate action, deep decarbonization and a just transition to renewable energy, our team is committed to continuing their contribution to the achievement of renewable goals . On this ninth year anniversary, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who contributed to shaping Sologistics into what it is today.
