Company Details

My Name is Sologistics

Our Vision: Industry-leading solar experts supporting a renewable energy future.

Our Mission: To simplify solar operations from start to finish – shortening completion time, cutting through red tape, and removing barriers to solar development.

We do what we do best, so you can do what you do best

Solar isn’t a division of what we do, it’s the ONLY thing we do, which sets us apart from other project managers. We partner with you the solar installers/developers and help you control the quality, timing and overhead expenses of these projects to avoid costly missteps that result in project reworks. We offer an expedited permit process for solar companies to complete their work – on time and for much less cost than if you were trying to figure it all out by yourself.

We know New York

We’re playing to our strengths! New York solar is in the top 10 in the US with nearly 600 solar companies, and we know the need and demand are right here. We understand the challenges faced by solar companies operating in NY State in general, and the NYC solar market (and NYC Department of Buildings) in particular. We possess unique industry and municipality-specific knowledge to provide our clients with the ability to successfully navigate the solar applications process.

We can assist contractors and installers, project developers or other solar companies in submitting an application to the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Each AHJ has its own set of requirements, which aren’t always communicated or readily available to applicants, which leads to considerable expense and long wait times if companies are attempting to do this on their own.

Meet our CEO

Before founding Sologistics, Fayeann Lawrence was the Director of Operations for the second-largest solar installer in New York City. She realized that, despite the strategic advances being made in the industry, New York State – and NYC in particular – continued to be one of the most frustrating places in which to install solar systems. Many manufacturers were unclear on the processes that would move their applications through the pipeline, and it often meant the systems they sold to their customers were subject to delay and even cancellation.

As Fayeann explains, “There is a danger in not knowing what you don’t know. Missing a detail you weren’t aware of can set a project back by weeks, and that is what we are here to do for our clients – keep a project on track, in as little time as possible.”

Possessing the experience and knowledge to provide operational and administrative support to contractors, she created Sologistics, a first-of-its-kind Solar Operations back office.

“While I am focused on providing a rather unique and efficient way to help our clients reduce the installation process by more than half the time, I remain dedicated to helping our industry do even better, There is little standardization across municipalities, which slows the process considerably. I’m working toward a goal of getting from customer order to installation in only seven days. We aren’t there yet, but I feel that is where we should be going, and Sologistics is doing our best to help achieve it.”

Meet our Staff

As we’ve grown, we’ve added only professionals with excellent credentials in the solar industry, both on our staff as well as those with whom we contract work. Designers, managers and engineers are required to keep all certifications current, and are encouraged to take continued training in Solar Installation, Solar Design and other programs. All of our QC Specialists, engineers and designers are North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certified and are also required to keep certifications current. Our management team is made up of people whose backgrounds are in the solar industry; our contractors undergo a rigorous hiring process, and are required to keep their training certifications current.

Perhaps most importantly, we are proud also to be a Minority / Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE). This means our clients can bid for projects requiring MWBE certification, giving them a distinct advantage over competitors in the market. Just as important, it also means we support leveraging the capabilities of those from underserved areas to maximize their opportunities, while also gaining the brightest and best minds in the business for our team.

This includes:

  • Solar Professional Engineers
  • Solar Architects
  • Permit Expeditors
  • Solar Designers

All of this means you have a solid solar team that speaks your language, working for YOU.
