The Project

Developed by Onyx Renewable Partners, this portfolio of multifamily residential buildings is the largest solar installation on a privately owned housing complex in Manhattan. The project consisted of over 56 buildings with individual PV system sizes between 28.8 kW and 175 kW, all together totaling 3.4 MW of solar with over 9,000 PV panels installed. These solar installations provide electricity to over 1,000 apartments and provide significant emissions reductions.
